Travel Diary: Oahu Hawaii
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” -Marcel Proust _______________________________________________________________________________________ I can’t believe that I’d never visited Hawaii before this trip. It’s seriously one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in my life. Unlike most of my trips I was fortunate to have a cousin that I was visiting so it made the trip all the better. She also happens to be a travel writer and an adventurous soul like me so we had an amazing time together. I didn’t have time to see any of the islands other than Oahu but I consider that my reason to go back as soon…

Travel Diary: Oahu Hawaii (Video)
If a picture is worth a thousand words than a video must be worth a million. Of course, this won’t even begin to cover the feelings and experiences of actually being there but it’s amazing that we even have the ability to share this much in the age we live in. There’s something really magical about the native culture of Hawaii. They have a reverence for things we can’t see or touch that I find so beautiful. The language itself speaks to this. On the islands “Aloha” doesn’t just mean hello and goodbye, it’s a way to express Love, Peace, and Compassion. To live with Aloha is to be putting out a spirit…

Disneyland fun at Halloween Time!
Hey Guys! I’m finally home from traveling (for now, lol) I just had the best time in California with my family during the Halloween season. I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween tbh but all of the decor and events going on in the Disney Parks for the season were actually pretty cool. This vid is kind of a mesh of all the days of our trip because I wanted to share some of the highlights with you! (p.s. If you’re wondering why my outfits change it’s because we spent 2 days at each of the parks. 😉 )

Travel Diary California: Beach Day + Balboa Park at Night
It’s been over a week since I got home from California but I only just finished sorting through all the photos. I’m finally sharing the last ones from our last few days we spent there. The evening before we left we had the pleasure of meeting up with a cousin who recently moved to the area. She took us to see one of the last things on our list, which was Balboa Park. We had planned to do it on our first day when we went to the zoo but we’d run out of time so I was happy to fit it in. Of course, it was dark so I really didn’t get…

Travel Diary: San Diego – Part 1
Finally had a chance to share some of the trip I’m on with my sister in San Diego and I’m so excited to share them with you. Growing up in big family, it’s nice to have a smaller group to travel with. It just simplifies things not to have so many people to keep up with. While I have a ton pictures already from the last few days I’m just sharing the ones from the first day here because that in itself was hard enough to narrow down into a single post. Traveling in a small group isn’t the only thing I’ve been really appreciating on this…

Travel Diary: LX Factory in Lisbon
“Travel is not really about leaving our home, but rather leaving our habits.” -Pico Iyer I was so inspired by one of the venues I visited while in Lisbon. It’s a place called the LX Factory and you can easily get lost trying to find it, as I found out the hard way. Just one example of the art there is this photo below of a multimedia display of a fly on the wall here. It was done by an artist named Bordalo II. This guy turns garbage into these gorgeous art pieces all across Lisbon where he’s from and other cities too. His sculptures (hash-tagged as #trashart) are his way of spreading…

Travel Diary: London
Time for a travel post, my friends! As most of you know I’ve been in Europe for the past week and the first part of my trip was in London. It was an absolutely amazing time and I already can’t wait to go back. When I first started to write this post I’d planned to do a little more description per picture but as pictures say 1000 words, and I think London is such a picturesque place that its photos say about 2000 words each, I’m going to keep the words to a minimum. When some friends of mine asked me what I liked most about London I, on first reaction, had…
