Healthy Heart-Beet Superfood Smoothie (Vegan)

Boost your energy and immune system with this power packed smoothie that you won't even realize is so healthy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup beets peeled and cooked (about 1 medium)
  • 1 small avocado
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup 100% orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or agave nectar (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Put beets, avocado, banana, berries, and orange juice into blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add vanilla and honey or agave to taste. Blend in any other desired add-ins and serve.
