Holiday Cookie Week #3: Chewy Ginger Molasses Cookies (Vegan)
And we have more cookies…… I hope you guys aren’t minding the back to back sweets, but it is December and there are just so many cookies to be baked. I promise to post some healthier stuff come January (or possibly sooner). Maybe we’ll all go on a juice cleanse!…….Only, I just remembered, chocolate. Yeah, we’ll have like a salad and call it good. Okay, for the third cookie recipe this week I made another classic family fave. These are the like lovechild of a perfectly baked (chocolateless) chocolate chip cookie and a gingerbread man. You’ve maybe tried them before or something similar. If you haven’t though, you must. I’m telling you, so…

Holiday Cookie Week #2: Romance Cookie Bars (Pecan Pie Bars)
I actually enjoyed my Monday this week. Does that make me a total weirdo? It was mostly because I had a jam-packed weekend with back to back company on top of some blog planning and recipe testing so I was in the kitchen even more than usual. We’re talking sun up to sun down, and the days are at their longest here so that’s a long time. It’s not that there aren’t plenty of people around to help with things, there are, but you know what they say about too many cooks and soup. I need to get better at it, but I don’t always work cohesively with others #ControlFreak. Well, it’s that,…

Holiday Cookie Week #1: Snowy Butterball Cookies
So last week I did gift ideas, but this week it’s cookie time peoples! Which conveniently, cookies also make wonderful gifts too so it’s basically a win win situation all the way around. I’m starting off with one of the classics. These devious little puffs of deliciousness operate under multiple aliases but my crazy clan has always called them butterballs. You may know them as snowballs, Mexican wedding cookies, Russian tea cakes, or Italian wedding cookies, but me, I can’t seem to call them anything else. To me they’ll always be butterballs. Okay, obviously everybody and their great-aunt Ruth has a recipe for these cookies but I just really felt like I should have…

Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Brownie Bars (Vegan)
Yup, you read that right, Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Brownie Bars. These are sandwich cookies, cheesecake bars, and brownies all wrapped into one. This post is all about Vegan Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Brownie Bars How is your life going? Good? Not so good? Well, I hope it’s the former but I’m pretty confidant that either way it’s about to get better. I know, in the past I’ve knocked Oreos and I still haven’t changed my mind about Trader Joe’s brand being better. I just can’t get over the memory of feeling like I was eating burnt cardboard with frosting in the center. Also, they aren’t exactly health food so I figure if…

Swirly Brown Sugar Cinnamon Roll Cookies (Vegan)
Is there anything better than a big doughy cinnamon roll? It’s hard to say, but at the moment I’m failing to think of anything. The problem with cinnamon rolls is that they require a bit of planning ahead and sometimes you just haven’t done that when a craving hits. Like those moments when you just have to have a cinnamon roll immediately or you may die. Does that happen to you too? Well, you see, that’s what I’m here for, to solve these urgent problems in life. Does that mean that I plan to save the world one cookie at a time? Maybe it does. Don’t judge. It’s a perfectly good plan, even if…

Perfect Crinkle Snickerdoodle Cookies (Vegan)
I can’t really imagine what the holidays would be like without baking at least one batch of cookies. There are so many possibilities too. I mean, you’ve got the classic, and basically synonymous with Christmas, gingerbread men. Then there are your basic sugar cookies or shortbread. In my family chocolate chip cookies usually make their way into every holiday treat line-up. Oh, and we almost always make these little snowball cookies that I think everyone is familiar with. With all the variety, it’s not surprising that there are some cookies that aren’t as commonly made in some homes and for us that was always snickerdoodles. In fact, I hardly remember my family ever making…

Easy Mini Chocolate Chip Cookie Crumble Trifles (Vegan)
Hey guys! Guess what? Today is National Chocolate Pudding Day! So my family is somewhat obsessed with chocolate chip cookies. I think they would be completely happy if I made them everyday but how boring would that be? It’s pretty hilarious because I am always wanting to try some new flavor or recipe and everyone just wants to eat chocolate chip cookies. This is where we have a problem. I mean, I think chocolate chip cookies are great and I’m sure you do too but I can’t exactly post the recipe everyday and I just don’t have the time to make a bunch of different recipes everyday either. Trying to make everyone happy…
