Simple Vegan Cinnamon Crumb Cake (Gluten Free)
If you’re looking for the perfect vegan coffee cake recipe this Simple Gluten Free and Vegan Cinnamon Crumb Cake is perfect. Make it for a special weekend breakfast or a quick vegan dessert. Ok, so tell me if I’m the only one who thought this… …but I always thought coffee cake actually had coffee in it. I mean, maybe it should because that sounds delicious, but it’s also good as is with no coffee. Either way, can’t we just fix the confusion and just call it crumb cake or something? I think it’s just as good a title for this simple and classic treat. This post is all about Gluten Free Vegan Cinnamon…

Easy Cinnamon Sweet Potato Quick Bread
So I realize this post is coming at you way out of season. I’d blame it on all that time I spent living in the Southern Hem where the seasons are all switched up, but the truth is we recently got this ginormous bag of sweet potatoes and only about half of the people in my house like them. Even then, some of my family members that do like them still seem to think of them as an item reserved for eating at holidays only so that leaves only a few people to eat them. I have no problem having them all to myself basically, and this totally wouldn’t be a problem…

Blueberry Almond Streusel Crumb Muffins (Vegan+GF)
I just typed out “It’s been a muffin since I’ve shared a minute recipe.” That’s pretty much what today’s like, but you know what? It’s the weekend, we’re just gonna go with it. Speaking of that though, how did this weekend sneak up so quickly, you know what I mean? It’s nearly May already. I mean, I know they say time flies but this just feels crazy. So I got a message recently from a friend asking for a specific recipe, one that would be fitting for a some limitations that this friend was trying to stick to, such as, “no refined sugar, only maple syrup”, “no dairy”, and “only whole wheat flour”.…

Cranberry White Chocolate Streusel Muffins
I think it’s a pretty generally observed fact that when one member of a big family gets the flu, everyone has it. Haha, at least when you’ve got little ones. Yep, the season’s bug is going around and I’m gladly getting passed the end of it and I’m feeling thankful it’s a very minor one. For me it was just really annoying mostly because I don’t know what to do with myself when I’m sick. You know, like when you aren’t sick enough to want to lay in bed and do nothing, but still sick enough that you don’t want to do much of anything? Well, at least that’s how it goes…

Blackberry Coconut Coffee Cake
I have warned you about my berry addiction a lot, haven’t I? Well, if not then consider yourself warned no, and hopefully you’re not getting sick of berry recipes by now because I’m really excited to share this recipe with you! I’ve been telling you about all the raspberries that I froze away from this past summer, but I forgot to mention that there was a fair amount of blackberries. Most of these were picked by my brother-in-law because he’s good to me like that and he knows how much I like having them to cook with (and devour like nobody’s business!) So the reason we pick the blackberries ( or ”Mora” as…

Oatmeal Pomegranate Banana Bread (Vegan+GF)
How was your weekend? I had a really great one and now I’m back feeling inspired and ready to make this a good week. I spent friday making way too much pizza (no joke, I made like 12) for our pizza night with some new friends and a birthday cake and cupcakes for my beloved grandma Meme. Oh, and then sorting lots and lots of strawberries. On saturday, I did my best to nothing but as I have way too many inspirations going on to for that I settled for staying in pajamas all day while I made coconut pancakes and then some fun snacks that I will be sharing soon. Anyway, have I…

Cinnamon Spice Glazed Vegan Apple Bread
Who’s ready to bake some vegan apple bread?? Nothing smells better than the smell of cinnamon wafting through the house on a chilly autumn day, don’t you think? This post is all about glazed vegan apple bread One of my favorite fall events when I was a kid in Tennessee was this apple farm that we would visit every year. They sold apple cider and all kinds of other apple products and of course all of their apples. Then they went out of business and I was really sad. It was too bad, I loved that place. Then there is the Apple Barn in so many of the malls across the States. If…
